Various: N-O has lost the plot over potential end of Mike Ashley's tenure

Recommended Posts

If you want a break from the takeover thread, head over to the Almiron thread where apparently Obertan is the better player

In fairness this forum is a hive of some of the thickest people going. Half of them shouldn’t be allowed to think about football, let alone articulate an opinion about it.

Says the bloke who thinks the penalty clauses for the Saudis dropping out will exceed the 17 million deposit

Anyone that thinks this isn’t going through have a look at all the new shite on the official website, not something Ashley would ever authorise or be interested in

https://www.nufc.co.uk/fans/supporter-charter/

That stuff has always been there, in fact the majority is dated last year.

Why's everyone getting in a flap? I've seen nowt this week that suddenly puts a negative turn on things, nothing new. Just the same old guff and rehashed rubbish from the usual suspect journos looking for clickbait. Nothing to worry about here, just the same nothing happening that's been not happening for weeks. At best I reckon any reports of anything are pure fabrication and sh*t stirring for the sake of it. The Prem will make a decision when they eventually pull their fingers out of their arse, until then I'm thinking it's best to ignore everything.

You could also make the opposing argument as to what is there to be positive about?

Another week has went by with seemingly little progress, it's little wonder people are negative

The Premier League are clearly taking the p#%s now regarding this, however yet again we all bought the decision is days away craic from journalists last weekend.

Either someone is having a laugh at our expense, or the NUST’s letter at the start of the week has delayed the process for another month.

Apparently they’ve been interviewing sporting directors in France. Hopefully Luís Campos. Very highly rated, he’s the one who bought those Monaco players  that knocked Man City out the champions league and signed the likes of Fabinho Lemar and B.Silva etc

Would be happy to see Bruce move upstairs into a DoF role given his record of signing some gems like Robertson and Harry Macguire for buttons.

Got to say I admire anyway who is still religiously checking and posting in this thread everyday. I dip in and out. I’m exhausted and bored rigid with this fucking takeover and the premier league
