Why is everyone so confident about Brentford? Never known a side promoted via the playoffs to have such a backing

They do the moneyball thing and have done for ages, and they're one of the most successful examples of it in English football. If you look at the fees they've commanded for players they've picked up for peanuts, it's really impressive.  They won't go bonkers, they'll be looking to bring in the right players with the right attributes at the right prices and it'll all be done based on analysis of what clubs who have stayed in the league have done historically. It's not a guarantee but they've probably got the best chance of staying up out of the three.

We have the easiest fan base on planet earth fucking hell. You could put Jihadi John in the dugout and people would still turn up.

I'd bet Jihadi John would know a bit more about formations.

Almost 4,000 took our snap poll which revealed relegation worries remain, with fans feeling four new signings are required before the end of the month.

Fans still say they aren't convinced by Bruce with 80% still opting for 'Bruce out' but his approval levels have risen by 15% since our bombshell survey in March which revealed 95% wanted him out.

So it's 1 in 5; 800 fans surveyed

He's probably correct, it would've been unbearable for Bruce if fans had been in.

There's not a club in this country that doesn't boo a team for poor performances. We don't seem to be allowed to without 'being on the managers back'.

Send them to Turkey and they'd see how volatile a fans response can be.
