Decky
Pretty obvious its 10 if McClaren stays.
mrmojorisin75
just had another look at the fixtures and i'd say they've blown it like, left it too late we might win 2-3 home games, maybe, but it'll take an epic managerial performance from any new guy to see us start getting enough away from home even under a new bloke i could see a max of 10-12 points and that'll be cutting it mighty fine under mclaren we won't get over 30 points
Robster
it'll take an epic managerial performance from any new guy to see us start getting enough away from home More often than not, the new person has to do very little other than not be the previous manager. The impetus is often gained simply from the previous manager no longer being there (Souness/Roeder).

Stray Mackem
I wonder if Sunderland fans are worried that McClaren will get sacked and replaced with a decent manager? I am. If you get someone like Pearson in I'd be worried. McClaren IN!
Ketsbaia
Leicester next week, then Sunderland. Does anyone know if replacing a manager one game before the derby works?

newsted
It's so weird. I'm just watching and thinking "Ooh. that's got to hurt" as the thing tumbles out of control. Ashley has killed my love of the club. Damn, never thought that could happen. The fat bastard.

Dr Venkman
Was a 9 after Stoke. Still a 9 as I reckon there's a 10% chance they'll sack him.
Mattoon
If he doesn't go and go now then it's a nailed on 10 simple as, the players don't want him, the fans don't want him, I never thought I'd see greater ineptitude than John Fucking Carver but he's done the impossible. AyeDubbleYoo
Was a 9 after Stoke. Still a 9 as I reckon there's a 10% chance they'll sack him. But if they sack him, do you think we're then 0 to go down? Maths.

Varadi
Said if before and it still stands, if McClaren stays, we're down. New manager and there's hope, depending on who it is of course. If we get Moyes I would give him as good as 50/50 on keeping us up.
Guest Phillipealbert
I know this is just a bit of fun, but how does everyone work their ratings out? I do it on probability, i.e. 7 = 70% chance of relegation. I'm a 7 ATM. Likely to go down, with an outside chance that Two Haircuts will get sacked and we'll stay up. If Chubbs stays with his man, we're going down. If we go down, there's a high chance we'll stay down for a decade. Bad times.

merlin
Now at a firm 9 and will go to 10 if the next 2 games are lost...this has been coming for a long time and its no surprise that the club are where they are apart from the fact that McClaren must have almost zero motivational powers to get such awful performances from players who should at least be capable of finishing 14th. Charnley reminded me of Nero fiddling whilst Rome burnt when they showed him during the game yesterday.......
Ketsbaia
Dunno if it's the alcohol, but I feel more confident with the defeat + McClaren out combo than if we'd won today.
Guest
Stayed the same on basis McClaren is more likely to go. If he's still in charge by Sunderland though, 10.
Altamullan
10 if the second best coach in the premiership is still bringing out the worst in what we've got and generally stinking-up the place with his horseshit patter, for next match.9 with a new broom-any fucker- prior to then. Starting Fucking Rivière. Christ almighty. Other results suggest it is us or Makems.

BONTEMPI
If these arseholes persist with McClaren then the only way I can see us getting out of this is going back to 4-4-2 Blob Jan Mbemba Taylor Had Sissoko Tiote Shelvey Winny\Townsend Mitro\Cisse Unc Ben Just no fight or inspiration from anywhere. Cronky
It's looking grim now. Two out of ourselves, Norwich and the Mackems will drop, and our neighbours seem to be doing the best at the moment. It's not fair to blame McClaren, in that the slide began long before he arrived, and it can take more than one season to turn that kind of momentum around. The biggest (but not the only) problem is the defence. If you're insecure at the back, that saps the confidence of the entire side. It feels like we have to begin again from scratch in that area.
