Frazzle
Think there's 9 winnable games there - even Chelsea (a) isnt what it was. Our away form feels shocking but we've actually won two. We may have won two but our away form IS shocking. We've scored the least away goals in the league and only Villa and Swansea have won less away games. Holloway
There's a couple of turned the corner/false dawn type scenarios amongst that lot I would have thought
midds
One slight positive is the fact we still have to play all of the teams around us (4 of them at home) and if we get a good set of results in those 6 fixtures then we'll probably stay up. The 4 sides we've played twice are all in the current top 10.
Dave
We have five winnable home games left and we look so weak away from home so I can't see us getting much in our travels . That leaves us with 36 points if we beat the makems I don't think that's enough Define winnable. Because if they're the shit teams, we're fucking abysmal at playing them. Karjala
Failure to win games such as Villa (H), Watford (A), Swansea (A), West Brom (A), Watford (H), Sunderland (A), Stoke (H) should prove costly for us. Looking pretty much certain to be Villa, and 2 from Norwich, Sunderland and NUFC. Mackems have too much of a recent history of getting out of it to consider them relegated just yet. Altamullan
Hidden for size, but have a look at this. It's f***ing pathetic. http://i.imgur.com/zjQm7u2.png http://i.imgur.com/Oo4fgby.png http://i.imgur.com/jTxq7rJ.png Makes sobering reading! Using their categories, we have two top third teams at home, two middle third, and four bottom third. Having yet to play 4 of the 7 bottom third teams at home maybe sheds light on why we've got a 0.67 points per game average against our 'shitsville neighbours' and a more respectable 1.11 ppg ave against the top third. Away we have two top third, three middle third, and three bottom third opponents.
Karjala
Next 4 Fix: Swans: Palace (H), Southampton (H), Spurs (A), Arsenal (A) Norwich: Villa (A), West Ham (H), Leicester (A), Chelsea (H) NUFC: Everton (A), West Brom (H), Chelsea (A), Man C (H) Mackems: Man C (H), Liverpool (A), Manure (H), West Ham (A)

Away Toon
We buy or we die. Two or three new ready to go players, striker, centre back and left back. I think we are odds on to go down and deservedly.
Minhosa
Norwich could go a long way to relegating Villa and saving themselves in their next game.
Away Toon
Alternatively we just go and get a semi decent manager, much cheaper option.
Tiresias
If we dont get relegated ashleys s*** will continue not to be punished and it will not end. Tired of talking myself into being happy we stayed up and hoping we can at least be comfortable next season. Its never going to happen. We need the club to implode sadly. I have until now sat on fence and been conflicted but its just not ever ever going to end
Altamullan
As Dave pointed out before, good news = played proportionately more games against better teams, so have more games against lesser teams to come, to balance out and let our true mediocrity shine...but we tend to play better/get more from better teams! If we kept same form (please, great footy gods in the sky take note) then we have: 4 games against top third at 1.11 ppg 4 games against second third at 0.29 ppg ( :gm's patter: ) 7 games against bottom third at 0.67 ppg So 4.44 + 1.16 + 4.69 = 10.29, or 10 points. This ignores changes in form (yes please, and thank you very much) or whether home and away. If we just gathered an Average points total against the three tiers we'd get: 4+4.56+ 12.53 = 21.09 So basically, at this stage we don't need to set any Leicester like records, just recoup the average points return and be safe. Saying it and doing it seem 'tremendously' different.
ExiledGeordie
Results like yesterday just don't give me any confidence. We're not difficult to beat, we have nobody to finish off our chances and like others have said McClaren just doesn't seem to be getting the best out of what we do have. Frazzle
After Swansea's win, looking more and more like two from us, Norwich and Sunderland. If Sunderland do their usual escape act, finishing ahead of Norwich might not even be good enough.
Ketsbaia
Swansea, Norwich and Bournemouth are all spirited bastards, unfortunately. I never truly thought of Swansea as candidates until the last fortnight but they'll be absolutely fine - superb organisation and positioning today. So it's down to us, Sunderland and Norwich for those two spots.

nufcjb
Think we're going down tbh. We can't string more than 2 wins together. All the others are winning and drawing at the very least. Getting a striker in won't be enough. Could we do with a possible new manager bounce?
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Most teams have managed to have a run of a few decent results in a row. We haven't. At least if we get relegated we should win more games than we lose in the Championship. It would be nice to win a few games and score some goals again.
