Big day today even though we aren’t playing.

If Stoke and Palace don’t win today then a win against Huddersfield and that will be us pretty much safe.

Stoke and Palace both winning today and us not beating Huddersfield and we’re right back in it.

A 55% chance of beating WBA just makes that whole thing a load of s****.

A couple of seasons ago I recall an already relegated side  tonking one of the best teams in the country 5-1. 55% sounds about right.

That was totally different as Tottenham were coming to us on a massive downer having lost the league, we were on a very bizarre high trying to keep our manager in post.

According to the rest of his %’s, we’ll be going into that game needing some sort of result, WBA are in crisis and would be relegated by that stage. 55% is absolute nonsense like

No idea why we’re discussing this in so much detail though.

I mean, bearing in mind the full grid shows a 17% chance of them winning, thus a 28% chance of a draw, I don't see an issue with it. We're not exactly a tour de force, and outside of the top-6, there are very very few teams with more than a 55% chance in any of their remaining games.

Stoke loss - perfect

Bournemouth win / WBA loss - makes no odds really. Bournemouth basically safe and WBA gone

Hudds loss / Palace win - draw was ideal result but a Palace win probably better than a Huddersfield one

Good results then?

The only relevant result really was the Stoke one. Huddersfield-Palace was fine, as at least one of the teams below us was going to drop points. A draw would have been ideal, but that’s not bad.

Can pretty much tick WBA and Stoke as down now really - Stoke’s next two are Arsenal and Spurs

If there had to be a winner it was Palace every time

Beat Huddersfield and we’ll be reet

agree, one more and its done

It really is as simple as that I feel now, huge game coming up if we win it we are as good as there. After today's results, Brom won't catch our 32 point current total, since they would have to win 6 of 7 to do that. Stoke would have to perform amazingly in their tough run in to pull back 4 points on us in 7 games. The unknown is how Southampton will fare with their new manager bounce, West Ham are in freefall a little with huge problems off the field, Huddersfield needed the win today or against us otherwise they are really in big trouble and Swansea, Palace and Brighton still very much in the mix.

Think it's between Palace, Southampton and West Ham just based on general form and what each team is doing atm for the final relegation spot.

Palace have a very good set of fixtures left, can't see them involved in the end.

Tbf you are probably right, it's just those are the teams in bad form atm.

I expect one of them will finish 15th or something.

We're out to 20/1 with SkyBet

The bookies are very rarely this far off the mark. If anyone genuinely thinks we're still deep in the shit they should chuck £25 on and buy a holiday.
