Harsh on Luton considering their squad/money spent. Goes quite under the radar that Burnley have spent close to £100m and were still honking. I think Luton will be back in the Prem within 2-3 years tbh.

They’ve been a good team. Punching above but lots to admire on their day.

Burnley got such an easy ride no more so than Vincent Kompany who screamed "look at my football, prospective employers, I care not what happens to this team though". Refusing to change how they defended even a little because of principles? Pep, Klopp, Ancelotti etc etc all adapt plan if needed. All that achieved was ensuring they got relegated solely so a football chairman can say "he plays good football". I'd be fuming as a Burnley fan. I'm not saying he had to go route 1, but to refuse even to play a little deeper was ridiculous.

1/10.

It would take more of an injury to Isak than he's already carrying to knock it up any further. Southampton and Ipswich are basically gone.

We are probably 5/10 to finish 11th or lower.

The fact our latest displays have felt like Bruce or Pardew was on the sideline is worrying. Us and manutd biggest disappointments this season. Anything below 8 is piss poor.

How does the ad tagline go again "should’ve gone to Specsavers", I mean I know this place is prone to the odd bit of hyperbole, but fuck me this is right up there.

I should have put a smiley or something in my post.

In seriousness I think, worse case, we’re in danger of flirting with the relegation fight for a bit.  I can see us losing against Arsenal and (unfortunately) forest as well. After that our form and league position will not look great.  The only danger then is if all confidence disappears and/or the board makes some bad decisions.  For us to actually be dragged into the relegation battle for real would take pretty much everything going wrong and even then I do t think we’d actually go down.  But it’s still really sad that it’s even a possibility, even if it is a very very small one.  I didn’t expect us to be much lower than 8th at any point this season. No Europe, quality players, Tonalli back, less injuries.  If things don’t turn around relatively soon this could be another season to write off.
