Yesterday there seemed to be a consensus we'd see at least on signing in tomorrow or Thursday, if that hasn't happened, then you would have to wonder if they are making much progress. Â Walking away is admirable to an extent but to go from Botman/Carlos to Phillips/Tarkowski (if they're our back up targets) is a big drop in quality. nufcjb Posted January 25, 2022 Share Posted January 25, 2022 I said as far back as when we were hesitating wuth sacking Bruce, then finding a replacement, then with Emery and Howe, plus the bollocks amount of time we have thought about a DoF and etc, those were all just a hint of how this window would go. Lumbering from one target to another and settling for scraps. This will be more costly than the earlier delays. They have a chance to give the club a chance to survive but it doesn't look good.
