I know he has scored some great goals, but we have yet to see him hit a ball clean and hard.

Yea, when he shoots from far I always hope that he bends it or something, cause even long passes seems difficult for him. But doesn't really need that in his play, but just compare it to Tonali for example.

Surely the point of a stuttering run up is to keep eyes on the keeper

Bruno had his head down the whole time ffs [emoji38]

Still love you big fella

He did the same in the week and all.

He changed the game in our favour again. But please keep him off pens.

I’m sure a fair few said that after the Leeds game

He has no technique at all in most aspects of how he strikes a ball, whether it's shooting or passing and I think that's the biggest problem. Most of the time it doesn't matter because if it comes off no one notices but when it goes wrong it's so obvious.

It goes even further than that actually, I remember a couple of years ago he spoke (or someone spoke about him) about receiving training on his running style to help him get around the pitch better. He's very unique in most of what he does and how he does it which is what makes him so special but also why he often looks ungainly/ awkward or like he's running through treacle.

His lack of seemingly any fast twitch muscle fibres are a God send  Can run all day and has been available almost every game since signing.

It’s pretty amazing that he is as good as he is. When you factor in his physical limitations and how he struggles with striking a ball. Yet he is still world class and one of our best ever players.

It is a minor miracle that he ever came through any youth set up with the way he hits a ball and moves around the pitch. But here we are and he's perhaps the most important player we've had in the last 3/4 years.

Was remembering the other day, maybe the game before Leeds, when he scored a header... It made me think back to when he scored that crazy last second diving header against, was it Leicester? To win the game and steer us away from relegation. Then he comes out afterwards and mentions that he's never scored a header in his life before that, even at youth level. [emoji38]

I dunno, he was just destined to be a hero here I guess.

Scored a few since and all. Palace, Liverpool, another game I forget against who where we did that back post set piece routine to him that worked a few times last season. I’m sure there is another I’ve forgotten.

Although I don't think he has been spectacular based on his overall performances so far this season, he certainly has been very efficient with his G/A output. His corner taking has been a pleasant surprise.

Should have been subbed straight away we were two up, why risk worsening it.

If it was that bad he’d have come straight off. Sometimes players can run it off. He walked off, I think he’ll be fine.

There was that time we all thought he'd be out for 7 years after he came off with what looked like a bad injury, only to be back the next game.

Just be a sprain. He’ll be back for Liverpool I reckon. Maybe even sooner.

Didn’t he do his ankle far worse early in his career here? We all thought he’d be out for weeks/months and he was back the next game or the one after.
