BergenMagpie
Poor Paqueta lol. They are having a blast in Newcastle and the only social stuff he is doing is going over to Zouma to watch him kick his cat

Haz
Bruno is constantly adapting to instructions from Eddie. His role is constantly changing. when it's all sorted they're going to tear up the league.
Lush Vlad
I thought he was fairly poor when watching the game, half-cut on Saturday. Since seen the extended highlights and the Bruno reel on Twitter. I think he looked quality. Some loose stuff with the ball and caught in possession a few times. But he has set the bar so high. That a 7 from him seems like a bad or below par performance.
buzza
At the end of last season he started to get caught with the ball, but he had the excuse of the ankle injury. It could also be that teams have worked out that he likes to hold on to the ball, small details in how to dispossess the opposition. Players will be studied to the nth degree... He needs to adapt or get out of the dip as soon as possible as he is the fulcrum of our team, what makes us tick!
nufcjb
Personally, I thought he was better second half than the first. He got into the right tempo and groove as the whole team upped their game.

Not saying he didn't, but the directive for him and his ankle (and his wedding) was to rest yourself and enjoy. People love making shit up though. simonsays
The more I see of this guy the more i realise how important to the squad he is. Everyone seems to gravitate towards him - you could see for instance when Tonali scored his goal it was Bruno he was looking for. His attitude and personality is just as important as his ability - for me he's the one player we couldnt afford to lose.
Tiresias
As much as Howe loves his bright young English talent, Bruno and Joelinton are the beating hearts of this team. Their attitude is absolutely Howe's philosophy made manifest on the pitch, full of positivity but also hard nosed laser focused when needs to be. No selfishness. If there was a problem then there's absolutely no chance he would've played against Villa. Every player looked fitter than their opposite number. Unrelated, I love that he and Tonali are already buddies (see avatar). Forget sometimes what a class act this guy is. A truly exceptional player that adores the club. That's what it's all about as a fan.

Flip
Thought he was poor last weekend, and while he had trouble tonight he was the only one really trying to match their midfield compared to Big Joe and Tonali.

Seems to dwell on the ball too long and get himself closed down, plus his first touch on the run has been poor lately. Hopefully he snaps out if it. He did lose the ball a few times, but felt at times it was because the ball was played to him in very difficult circumstances unlike pre-season and last weekend where he would dwell on the ball for a year before losing it.
