Not sure why he would choose to come to us on loan instead of getting a permanent contract at Everton like [emoji38]

We should have went for Alli ages ago.

TBF, he shouldn't touch Everton with a bargepole. 40m too.

We can just ask Everton for their results

Quite common for some players to have a medical a week or two before the deadline, and the buying club just has a look over the paperwork.

Sky sound like they’re about to go into it after the break after making inferences that there may be complications with his Everton deal.

Tbf though. if it's nothing from Everton until he's played 20 games then Spurs won't be getting a penny until next season anyway.  Reckon they might be tempted if we sling them £5m now with a promise of another £20m if we stay up.

No mention of it on Sky when discussing his Everton deal, strange.

Was weird that. It's as if they didn't believe it themselves. They hinted at it, then didn't bother.

Well its absurd to even consider it.

Spurs obviously don't want him long term so a loan makes zero sense. Even if Alli had his heart set on coming to Newcastle, he is hardly going to be impressed we only bid as a last resort and Spurs, quite rightly, can tell him the Newcastle move is a no go, wont be accepted as they only want a transfer.

What was weird was SSN saying when they went to the break "coming up next, more developments on Dele Alli with another club entering the mix" (or words to that effect), and then they returned from the break and carried on as if they'd never said it .
