Its not bullshit though you can literally see it coming a mile away.

We win by a couple of goals the banter/retort back will simply be its our first season back in the prem and they have spent 500m+ putting that squad together.

I just want a professional display where we don't get complacent I am not expecting to blow them away like in the cup where the quality gap in players was too much.

If is bullshit man, we got 1 point out of six against Luton two seasons ago. If they want their comfy blanket if they are beaten by a superior team, let them have it. We all know that they will be absolutely crest fallen if we win.

To be fair how many "local lads" are still getting regular mins?

Honest question as paid no attention to them to know if its all been the signings playing they may not quite grasp the occasion.

Still agree with the point we can't half arse this at all and expect anything but a beating.

Zero local lads get minutes for us now. Rigg is the most likely of the bunch to get on the pitch if anyone.

More fabrication as usual, they need to ask Athletic club why there is fuck all mention of them within their official site. Mentions Blackburn and Southampton though. The knacker on there has been trying for years and has come up with a blank each time, because there is fuck all link of any means

If only there'd been some sort of fixture that Newcastle and Athletic Club had played that saw various goodwill events between the clubs themselves and their supporters take place around said fixture within the past 5 weeks, itself a legacy from over 30 years ago, the absolute whoppers.

That lot making stuff up about us making stuff up, priceless

I don't know how to show images on here but, I took a look at the fake fan in payuce thread over on their site, the same pretend fan comes back in to reply to a few of the comments that followed his gush of love for all things mackem, he even replied to the one that said fuck off, he replied with FTM, I guess.....

There it is, the evidence that basically proves it to be a sunderland saddo with a made up username....  as if any other football fan from anywhere in the world would use their little tag acronym.....   :D

Anybody else phenomenally excited that these are our next league game? Perverse as some may see it I just love the tension of a derby. Some of my best football ‘historical’ experiences (yes I do have a selective memory…) come from playing these. Particularly away; couple of times in the wrong end.
One for the (not so oldies…):

“We've got Michael Owen, you've got John Stead. We've got Alan Shearer, you've got Dean Whitehead.” (Had to search to check for their players’ names which reinforces the point!)

Fuck that, I hate these games.  The anxiety is off the charts, no matter how much of a perceived advantage we are at.

I get it. Suspect it is a more common feeling in both fan bases. Think I just love all games that matter—that have that visceral heightened meaning/emotion—and, maybe somewhat masochistically, revel in this despite the fact that I/we can’t influence the outcome. Football is about feelings; not all of them good!
