Had a browse of RTG this morning and they're now producing spreadsheets of all the teams who have played at New Wembley (not league). Absolutely creaming themselves that we're the only Premier League club not to play there and have even  made a list of 127 other clubs who have. Sad bastards

The new Wembley, obviously the old Wembley doesn't count. They've basically just wiped over 100 years of history to suit their argument.[emoji38]

Surely teams in the PL that have only played there in Play off finals are in a worse position on this one than us though?

At the end of the day we have played at the new stadium. They can pull up all the spreadsheets they want (sad cunts), but they are the facts, doesn't matter how, the fact is NUFC have played there in an official fixture.

Truth is, if Sam Fender was a massive Sunderland fan doing a gig at their place with the flags and the Sunderland chants they'd be pulling themselves off about him.

I said that on here the other day, in fact they would be going totally overboard if that was the case.

It's not even an argument though, we have played at the new Wembley. Of course we would prefer a semi final or final, still doesn't change the fact we have played there though.

Can we sort the commas out on this? There's 3 commas in there, in 2 different formats, and neither are correct.

Word then comma then space then next word. Sorry but it's driving me up the wall!

Sure it's a minor point in the scheme of things, but if you think that when using a public forum like Twitter to insult or poke fun at your rivals that it's not important to have things worded and formatted correctly, then you'll just become the object of derision yourself.

Don't give them low-hanging fruit to come back at you with. If it was one comment, fair enough you can say it's a typo, but when the same comment is being copy and pasted day after day then it becomes even more important to make sure it's correct.

They really are a weird bunch!

Simple question for them - would they rather play at the 'new Wembo' in a Premier League match or in a League One Play-off match or a League One and Two Cup final?!

CASE CLOSED!

Was there as much fuss when Liam Gallagher walked out on stage, in an NUFC top back in 1997? (Oasis were at the Arena the night we played Barcelona)

Am also minded when David Bowie apparently did a gig at Roker Park and started by saying 'Hello, Newcastle!'. :D
