Unfortunately that will be the end, that’s a Miggy & Longstaff moment, he unlikely to come back.

A big thank you to you Nick if that’s the end, best keeper at his peak that I remember for us (better than Given at his best) and you will always be part of a team that finally won us a trophy.

They just played a compilation of all his mistakes this season on TNT, holy shit when you see it like that

Not sure to what points total it’s cost us but it’s more than significant

Really interesting that. Blown my mind a bit tbh because I've always been frustrated with how long he takes to get the ball moving again when we're chasing a game or have the chance to break following an opposition set piece.

I'd have guessed he'd have been much closer to the opposite end of the table tbh.

Really? He’s always been quick to look for a roll or throw out.

Let some other fucker deal with the hot potato

Celtic likely need a keeper in the summer (looks like Schmeichel is retiring), sort of gimmick that that lot would lap up, signing Pope.

Hopefully they've forgotten his preseason performance up there

Any stats on what percentage of crosses keepers stay on the line for and don't even make an attempt of catching it

Aye, without the underlying numbers, that’s a particularly iffy list.

I feel he often used to drop it and bounce it in front of him. Loads of keepers seem to do it, but more often than not, they keep hold of it at the second attempt. He is very aggressive on crosses, too.

This season has been a disaster, mind. A couple of ok runs by his standards. But even the things he is great at (crosses and sweeping) have been poor. Been punished a few times, along with various other howlers.

I genuinely still think Ramsdale is worse overall, for different reasons. But no point flip flopping again. May as well just stick with him and his ok’ish (shit hot compared to Pope) ability on the ball and start planning for the summer.

If we sign Ramsdale for the reported numbers. He’d be straight in as our worst signing under Howe. So fingers crossed that doesn’t happen!

What we know is that Chelsea will be looking for a new goalkeeper and possibly Villa.

We need to avoid getting beasted by other PL clubs like last summer.

Can 100% see that scenario if we go for the likes of Verbruggen or Trafford.

Chances he brings him back in this weekend? If not surely he’s done here?

Should be back in IMO, but I thought that a few games ago.

After that Barcelona game he should have been back for Sunderland.

Ramsdale is not even that good at passing it he just moves on it quicker
