Throwing Botman in at the deep end and also dropping Burn first game of the season seems canny harsh. Harsh on Dubba Ray too like. The former, because he's had the benefit of a full pre-season so there's no 'deep end' scenario imo, the latter because he's played the most in pre-season. CB, Willock or Longstaff (I think Willock will start, I see Longstaff as the away from home/vs top 6 choice as he is more defensive) and Almiron or Fraser. I hope for a Burn - Botman pairing (Schär is too injury prone), Willock and Almiron. I can really see Almiron and Trippier working well, Almiron has needed a smart overlapping FB and in Trippier he has one, pre-season suggested they were getting how to play together. It’s an interesting challenge - there’s an element of the unknown with the amount of new players they’ve bought and it being their first game back at this level. Think Willock is more likely to be more effective with fresh legs with his pace. Also think Schar has to start.
