He made things happen against Forest from a DM position. His position on the pitch is dependent upon the gameplan. I think Forest sitting deep did a good job of nullifying everything he made happen due to the lack of an extra attacker in the box. I can certainly see the argument, and right now he's the best option for both positions, I just think we'd get more out of him with another attacker than with another defender. I think our high press allows him to operate in the positions we want him to, but against teams like Forest it can backfire if he's too advanced, which I think at times we were. I think Bruno when he has played in that position tends to be more of a roaming playmaker and so doesn't just stay further up the pitch. He finds space to influence the game without having to worry about holding his position. So I was thinking more of that kind of free role really. Absolutely brilliant performance which shows that we have a really high potential with this manager and this starting XI. It’s you own misery that you thought something like that. I’m sure many thought like me, that we have such a great potential here that with few great additions and we are pure class. With better players in we would have won that game. Edit.
