Luckily we've seen some of that already from the owners, they won't be waiting around for bargains like the fat man. They'll know who they want and try to get them locked down for pre season I expect. I mean it's always a shit show with agents and all, but at least we won't be intentionally fucking it off for the first six weeks of the window. Perhaps we'll save a lot in wages by losing most of Karius, Ritchie, Dummett, Manquillo, Lewis, Fraser, Clark, Darlow, Hayden and Hendrick.... they don't count as losing depth, really. And it'd be great to raise money from selling Anthony Gordon but don't think we'll be able to flog him, sadly. Huge summer needed, as we need both quality and quantity.
