Was apparently a very common system until the 4-4-2 days arrived. Without the ball I guess they just drop into a 4-1-4-1, with the ball though things could get interesting.

At school (82/83) we played 3-2-5

Premier League matches starting at 19:45 on a Saturday?

It could be happening soon, according to the Times.

Up to 30 more fixtures will be shown live in the next broadcasting deal - at least 190 games a season and possibly more than 200 - and one proposal is to target a peak-time television audience with kick-offs on Saturday nights.

Is there also not rumours of Sunday 11:30/12:00 kick offs? To please the overseas (particularly Asian market) ensuring that there is a game on during prime time over there.

I much prefer early kick offs to late ones, to be honest.
