I assure you the big clubs all have this data set and where it has the most value for the club is the commercialization and revenue generating mechanics needed to secure sponsorships. What my secondary data suggests is NUFC home attendances have fluctuated over recent years as a result of boycotts against Ashley so hence, this investigation is centred around the impact ownership can have on fan attendance demand so interlinks with behavioural economics. It would be very interesting to see the data comparisons in order to support/refute previous literature within the field of sports economics as there is a load of depth to the literature. Obvs NUFC will have some form of data similar to what I am attempting to gather, however had to investigate something for my dissertation and given I have held a season ticket under the whole of Ashleys reign, I thought this would be interesting to investigate. Ronaldo was in his prime at Real Madrid, where he scored 450 goals in 438 games. If Ronaldo was at Real Madrid his whole career his numbers would be impossible to even comprehend. Messi being better to watch is obviously a factor for a lot of people. It's the same reason why people prefer Federer over Djokovic and Nadal.
