Guest Howaythetoon Posted May 21, 2018 Share Posted May 21, 2018 Been watching a lot of stuff and reading up a lot on Brian Clough and that era recently, his teams, his relationships with players, Peter Taylor, Don Revie etc. He called Murdoch out in the late 80s/early 90s as an odious man IIRC He was some manager, NUFC were after him during the 80s but the board of directors bottled it as did the FA RE the England job. He was also keen to manage the mackems. Had he went to either club, I think our fortunes would have been totally different. It’s scary that upto ‘74 we were more successful than Liverpool.
