Amazing to hear some pundit (can't remember who) lamenting how hard pre season was for Liverpool with issues off the pitch and how tough it is for Snot to have to integrate new players after the season starts.

They've somehow managed to become the victims of the unscrupulous situation their devious underhand practices created, while trying to fuck us in the process [emoji38]

Scousers man !

Must have missed the bit where someone had a gun to Slot’s head, forcing him to spend an absolute fortune committing radical change onto a team that didn’t need it

Don't remember him grabbing his face and hoying himself on the floor like that when he played for us. Also don't remember him crossing himself and pointing to the sky each time he came on the pitch for us, where's that come from?

It's a bad move for everyone concerned. We've lost our best striker, Liverpool waste a huge amount of money on a player who won't reach the heights he has in recent seasons and the player regresses

Well Isak is more than set for life with the money he's on. Maybe he doesn't really care beyond that.

Robertson- who seems otherwise okay- played this exact trick after the Southampton game. Tying his lack of pre-season into a positive narrative. It went unchallenged of course but I thought pretty much exactly what you wrote just there.

Edit: Just reread what you wrote. I meant they were talking about how difficult it was for Isak

 It's their version of forcing new players to nod solemnly at a video of a lad in his 90s who is from Newcastle and has as a result supported Newcastle for a lot of years, then say they understand it's a special club they've come to

For some players, this is true and of course he has the money to fall back on.

However, I think he's much more driven. He was already earning a lot here but still tried hard (at times).

I think he cares a lot about being perceived as a top player. He wants to win things and he wants to score a lot of goals.

Remember when he was in a bit of a barren run here, he was never happy for teammates scoring if he wanted them to pass to him. This is hurting him a lot.

to be fair, I heard this and I thought he was mostly referring to one of their players dying.

He'll be kissing the badge next. Never did that here. Always thought it odd. Don't anymore.

Why stop there? The new full backs have been crap and the keeper looks worse with his feet than Douglas Bader. Only Ekitike has looked good but he’s a known headcase who’ll cause more trouble than he’s worth.

Not to mention Salahs horrendous drop in form without Trent behind him and the fact that VVDs legs have gone.

Said this yesterday regarding falling over and rolling on the pitch.

So funny that he got an assist while trying to pull the ball down for himself in an impossible situation.

What was more funny was commentators trying to convince everyone he meant it as an assist rather than the ball dropping to a teammate totally by accident.

The dippers forum have taken notice and typical arrogant bastards saying shit like he (Woltemade) won’t be here for long once a “big club” comes in for him.

Also haven’t seemed to turn on Isak just yet, it’s the system he’s playing in apparently.
