Shows how hard it is to get a good keeper in. Everyone on here wanted Marmaduke and were raving about him. Every Liverpool fan I know thinks he’s been average to shit.

Not easy to come in and play close to Alisson’s levels. But he’s been nowhere near that.

Yea, I was sold on him being a fresh name, but after he signed for Liverpool, he had a joke season, making silly errors and he still looks a joke this season.

Allison will be remaining number one till his contract ends.

I was at Anfield last night in the away end in the very last seat before the Anfield Road stand ends next to the main stand so had a great view of how the home fans reacted to this rat and it was interesting!

Think they were only 2-1 down when he came on so still very much in the game but it was noticeable that he didn't exactly get much of a welcome from the home fans and whilst he was largely anonymous he miscontrolled a ball coming out the air and it was met with audible groans and shakes of the head. It's fair to say he's not exactly flavour of the month there that's for sure.

From hero to zero quite the fall from grace.

I wish we were doing better ourselves so I could enjoy this all the more!

It'll be so sweet to finish above them in the table, maybe win the Carabao Cup again and for them to win nothing, it's more than the rat deserves.

Mind keeps going back to the arrogance Slot was exuding in the summer and earlier in the season when they were just fluking all their wins. Calling us a small team etc. Cold slap of reality for him now.

I've never been a believer in karma, but something more powerful than you or I is teaching their arrogance a painful lesson this season and I'm here for it

Must be some culture shock for him. Been our main man for 3 years, scoring goals for fun, what was it 50 off goals in 80 odd games? And now to this. A peripheral figure. A no impact sub. Team mates barely acknowledge him on the pitch, fans didn't really acknowledge him either apart from slightly negatively.

Wonder if he's full of regrets? Only he can answer that. Yes he's got a nice pay rise (he'd have got one if he'd stayed here as well), but his bank balance would already have been very healthy, and now he's got no job satisfaction. You can see in his body language that he's not happy.

Last night was the first time I've seen him in the flesh since he left us. I booed like mad when he came on and called him a rat (not that he'd have heard me like [emoji38]) and I turned to the bairn and said no doubt he'll score here. After 10 minutes of him being on the pitch it was clear that was never going to happen and he cut such a forlorn figure for a minute I almost felt a bit sorry for him, but immediately snapped myself out of it.
