So the tie got decided by booting the ball off a player a yard away because his hand was slightly away from his body. Grim

Disgusting way to decide such an important game.

Football has a real problem as a low-scoring sport with terrible officiating and rules. Every goal is pivotal but so many are wrong.

Bundesliga clubs ceding chances galore when required to even minimal defending. Surely not.

See that would have been a better excuse. "I'm tall, I thought I could have hit my head, the sign just happened to be in the way, no intention at all, just a coincidence."

Hearts ahead away at Celtic (Krul on the bench). Rangers were behind away to Hibs, but have just equalised.

Spurs-Milan about to start after another London CL kick off delay.

Krul on the bench - is he on loan at Celtic or Hearts? :dontknow:

He’s right atleast about the Bundesliga. Somehow dull as fuck despite being a very attacking league.

Aye, I’m somewhat of that opinion myself. It’s too formulaic and to me it just seems mad that aside from Union no one seems to coach any defending and all the teams play mad high lines and full backs with usually slow as fuck defenders regardless of who they play.

I used to love watching the Bundesliga, but it hasn't really evolved in years. Bayern romping to victory every season of course doesn't help.

Always wary of clubs targeting players from there too. Take Diaby for example. Looks a talented lad, but even when he doesn't have oceans of space to run into, no one will perform any kind of basic defending to stop him. It's difficult to judge just how good he is.

Probably recency bias, ignoring Haaland, of course. But seems like a lot of attacking players from the Bundesliga come to the prem and then struggle.

Havertz and Werner being the big main two that spring to mind of late. I think I read they both massively underperformed their xG in Germany and should have been scoring a lot more. So then they come to a better league and struggle.

Sancho and Pulisic to a lesser degree? Joelinton…….

Edit: Had a quick read to see if I was talking nonsense  Haller, Bailey, Podolski have all underperformed over here.
