As long as it's broadcast after the game, imo.

Would rather it during to be honest, it works in Rugby, no reason it shouldn't in football. Would just make things so much clearer.

There's enough focus on the referee as it is, let it be a contribution to the half-time/post-game analysis. I agree totally with the need for transparency but it doesn't have to be during the game, drowning out crowd noise etc.

I nearly said in my first post "I dont want to feel like I'm watching rugby," which is a truly dismal viewing experience at times.

League Cup 2nd Round draw:

Chelsea vs AFC Wimbledon

I for one am shocked to see Chelsea getting a piss easy draw of a League 2 side at home. It hardly ever happens. Someone will have to do some serious archive delving to find the last time that happened in a domestic cup competition.

They got Man City away last year.

And prior to that they had home ties versus lower league opposition for about a decade on the spin in the early rounds of both cups, what's your point?

And what is your point as well?

It's all in the luck of the draw.

Dunno like. I remember Man Utd getting years of easy draws, usually at home to the likes of Dexys Midnight Runners.

Newcastle's:

21/22: Burnley (h) & Cambridge (h)

20/21: Blackburn (h) & Arsenal (a)

19/20: Leicester (h) & Rochdale (a)

14/15: Leicester (a) & Gillingham (a)

13/14: Cardiff (a) & Morecambe (a)

I know you had a few more away games, but the standard of opposition is pretty similar to what Chelsea have had.

Man United's:

22/23: Villa (h) & Everton (h)

21/22: West Ham (h) & Villa (h)

20/21: Luton (a) & Watford (h)

16/17: Northampton (a) & Reading (h)

15/16: Ipswich (h) & Sheff United (h)

14/15: MK Dons (a) & Yeovil (a)

13/14: Liverpool (h) & Swansea (a)

Last two years aside, a very favourable draw.

One thing that doesn’t get much mention. We’ve finished 4th and not lost any of the best performers.  Not even been close. Leicester finished in the top 6 - 3 times? But lost star players nearly every time.

No credible rumours linking any of our players away either.
