Lewis Miley

Looks so composed for his age.

With Willock, Bruno, Tonali, Longstaff, Joelinton we are very healthy in CM. Anderson and Miley could be excellent emergency depth this year. Then maybe send at least one out in January if we have a chance to bring another DM or AM in. Signs look good we wont necessarily need to bring another CM in though.

The way he strides about nicking the off ball and playing great through balls he makes it look easy. Very refreshing to see. I think he’s got a great future ahead of him.

At only 17 as well. Bright future for him and Anderson

You imagine how he’ll be in a coupe years let alone in his prime. The good thing is the players he has around him that will bring him on not to mention the coaching team too. Unreal thinking of all the positives to do with this club at the minute…!

I'm jealous that you seemingly haven't looked at the travesty going on in the ASM thread.

There was an instance last night where their number 43 was having a bit of needle with Bruno, clumsy tackle each and a bit of verbals and young Miley ran over and put him in his place. Wasn't let Bruno take any shit. Loved it.

Our youngsters are actually progressing and not stagnating at this club, now.

The better quality additions Eddie Howe's brought in, coupled with the ones already here, has went up a notch and that can only offer more progress and more hunger by the younguns to show what they are capable of.

I think this club is simply buying smart for the future with youngsters and also buying careful and smart in terms of bringing in seasoned players that does not saturate the squad to the extent of having the younger up and coming players being held back.

It appears like it's a bit of unleash the potential as much as is possible while we fight on the front foot in the prem and the champions league as well as the other cup competitions.

The future looks brighter than the sun at mid day. :footy:

Thing is, in his couple of appearances for the first team he hasn't looked out of place, regardless of his age, and we are talking decent opposition. Sometimes when you put a young lad into the first team they can look lost. This lad looks a player.

Recently turned 17 years old, absolutely mental. He seems to have skipped that phase young players go through where they look alright in flashes but weak or ill-suited to the men's game; kid is an impressive height and size before you consider his considerable talent and confidence.

You can see why we clearly aren't considering another CM this window with the emergence of this fella and as Anderson's stock gradually starts to rise.

He's been excellent in this Villa game, really standing out against a proper team of PL players.
