llcoolc157
Injuries have presented Miley with an opportunity to play on a regular basis, albeit not his natural position and he’s jumped all over it. This is exactly what he needed and the more matches he starts the more he’ll improve and continue to grow in confidence as an established first team player. Had he not played as an emergency right back he’d still be a fringe player, similar to Anderson, so for young lads with potential, take whatever opportunity you can and give Eddie a big fuckin selection headache going forwards…. Probably the last manager he needs to be playing under right now.

Reflecting on it now, he’s fast becoming a lynchpin for Eddie and a huge problem solver. He may have done well going on loan to Ipswich but I doubt he’d have had the footballing education, pressure and exposure that is creating a real diamond for us. MagSA
Done an amazing job at RB and would like him to get an extended run in midfield now. Surely we not going to rely on him as a CB to cover for the issues we have now.
bobbydazzla
It's like when you're 17, you're fumbling around in some lasses undies in a cupboard at a house party, you've made your debut, you're getting some action, you've done well, but you've not done owt spectacular either. Then you get to 19. You've progressed from fumbling in cupboards to booking Premier Inn rooms and taking lasses back for a proper night of pleasure. You've got your confidence, you know that you've got the skills, but you're not a show off. You're a lot more expressive and you're starting to command the bedroom. You're willing to be more experimental. You've probably experienced a squirter. And the lasses can't get enough of it. You've even been confident enough to take on a recently divorced 38 year old scorcher. So I've been told by people I know who have done these things. JP
I'd love to see him and Tonali in a midfield 2 with Bruno - but play Bruno that bit higher and just let him go create. Composure of Miley and legs of Tonali would be a perfect balance imo Won't happen under Eddie I'm afraid.

Lush Vlad
Totally forgot to mention in all my praise of him. The part he played in the second goal. Bruno inexplicably plays a horrible pass nowhere near him that's going off for a goal kick. I think a lot of players would have given up on it or started to go and then stopped. I even thought it was Tino at first, who is rapid when he gets going and thought he had no chance. He busts a gut to keep it in, his usual casual self to then pick the right pass and then we score. 19 years old and I don't even think it's outrageous to say he is our most calm and measured player in the squad. I was never calling him a plodder or owt. But I've never been more wrong about a player. Ok, maybe Seb Bassong I thought he was going to be another Longstaff sort, albeit a lot better on the ball. He's been our best player for the last what? 6 games? Not like we've seen loads of others underperforming either. As we've had plenty who have shone in that time, too. Outside of Bruno he was performing better than any other midfielder when he did get the chance to play. I was screaming about this pretty much every week so I'm glad he's getting the chance to play. The hype over Anderson is wild, he's not a top level player and won't ever be. I wasn't bothered when we let him go and nothing since has made me rethink that. However if we sell Miley for any amount of money I will be apoplectic with rage. Edited January 8 by Wandy

You have to prepare and set the groundwork. You must have the right equipment, boots and shinpads in place of fine wine and Belgian chocolates for the lady. Have you mastered multiple positions to cover any eventualities? Most importantly, have you trained to ensure you have enough stamina to perform at your best for a minimum of 90min. No one wants to be pulled off early.
