joeyt
This might be incredibly harsh but apart from a purple patch for about 6 months last season when we finally swapped him and Bruno around he hasn't offered much for us for the majority of the time he's been here We've seen how high his ceiling is with his performances last season. Rich
Nah, it’s pretty fair. I don’t know how we get him back to his peak, but it needs to happen sooner rather than later.
TBG
His dip in form does seem to coincide with the closure of Sapori in Gateshead

He's just an Italian Joey Barton imho.

Then with others picking up some form should we be trying to rotate him with Bruno to give them both rests? Perhaps try him there if brunos injured? Alberto2005
It's mental to think how class he was last season I'm genuinely worried about the prospect of him starting now.

Think it's both harsh and untrue, he's been off the boil for the matter of weeks, and had a difficult start here. Everything in between has been mostly outstanding. Even earlier this season he was putting in some unbelievable displays.
joeyt
It's been longer than a matter of weeks I think. I might be misremembering but I'm struggling to remember the unbelievable displays he's done this season? That doesn't mean they didn't happen but this season has been so long I just can't remember them

Optimistic Nut
Surprised at some of the criticism tbh. He hasn't hit Oct-Apr 24/25 levels but very few would. Still think he's been important for us and wouldn't swap him for anyone.

And in the early parts of the season in the league we almost felt like a one-man team at times with Sandro running the show on many occasions. Saudi (I think) bloke sat next to me for the cup game against Spurs spent the whole game going "world class, world class!" everytime Sandro did owt. Stood up and applauded him a few times. Was hilarious.

Mr Misery
Over to you bonny Lad. Nee pressure. But if you want to be a Champion's League player you need to start showing it. Get the Mrs and the bairn to the other wing of the house. Edited February 14 by Mr Misery
