Pretty good is a bit of a stretch in my opinion.

 

At this point I'd take it but I don't feel it matches ambitions, least if you go by how we felt at the end of the season. Right now I'd take any signing, I just need to remember what it feels like to not be cucked by a cartel club.

“Pausing” could also affect the current players in a negative way. Just don’t spend big on a striker as there aren’t that many out there. Strengthen elsewhere big time and get Wissa.

I think Thiaw would be a bit underwhelming, feel like a ready to go first choice RCB was needed this summer and he seems to be a bit raw.

 

Outside of that it would be OK aside from the fact that the Isak situation has created a horrible feeling around the club.

then sort it out. Don't let Isak fucking go at this point. there are other important positions to fill. The negligence in decision making from the Dof appointment down is now beyond a joke. I understand wanting to get it right after the Mitchell debacle, but they've absoutely pissed away 2/3 of one the most important summers in recent history for the club. It's not 100% their fault, but feet dragging in some very important areas is pretty apparent at this point.

to close the gap on the elite, given spending restrictions, we need to reliably make 95th+ percentile decisions. Floor raisers for lots of money is not that.

I dont get what Isak has to do with the CM and CB situation. We were told we had a budget to cover all that without any sale. We have sold Longstaff for pure profit. If we sell Isak the big fee on a striker wont matter.

You hope if craig no hopes source is right its near the bottom like Jackson its on our list somewhere  just not immediate priority 1 unless they know we can nab at longstaff or less sort of fee which is unlikely.
