Exactly. Doesn't mean they're bad players though, Pedro especially would still be on Howe's radar.

Very true. Not sure I wasn’t someone who has such bad decision making

He’s a natural goal scorer, don’t love him for what he would generally bring to the team but he’d be an excellent Wilson replacement

Wilson replacement yes - he's not an Isak replacement

I might be in the minority here but I would take a punt on Hojland, just feel there's a player there that hasn't been helped playing for that shit show of a club. 22, 30 million. Maybe not most preferred and still want Wissa but with the right support and Howe coaching I think he could be very decent.

Could be a reverse Jon Dahl Tomasson. Young Dane, (Tomasson was 21ish when he came to us) supposedly the best finisher at our club (in training with some tough opposition!) couldn’t do it on the pitch/break through. Though only had 23 appearances to be fair (3 goals).
Went on to win the UEFA Cup, Champions League, Serie A, and other leagues/cups. Scored  55 in 122 for Feyenoord, 52 in 112 for Denmark and generally looked a very accomplished striker.

Yes I think you are in the minority regarding budget Haaland.

Raheem Sterling has played as a striker on a number of occasions, and seems surplus to requirements at Chelsea/Arse. Would do a better job that Gordon, surely.

Hojlund definitely has something.

Check out the highlights from the game below.

This is from the very early days of his time Man Utd, before they absolutely ruined him and shot his confidence to pieces. I know these are only brief highlights, but in a different environment along with some proper coaching from Howe, I think there is definitely a player in there.

For 20m I'd have Hojlund here, without question.

Would still need one more striker alongside, though.

looking at the available strikers I’m thinking Jackson is the best option. It’s an absolutely tragic situation, this

Wissa for anything above £40m is just a big nope.

Not sure I could think of a worse signing given how much he'd be on

Arsenal fans got ripped off on a loan that had half his wages covered - says it all really.
