With Schar on last legs, Burn who is still at same level and been incredible (but a huge weary he could suddenly drop off at any point), having two £30m+ CBs that then potentially can’t string multiple months together fitness free would be damaging. There is a risk, but I wouldn't call it a huge. The main reason behind this is the track record we have as a club (post take over), both on transfers in general and transfers for players off the back of poor seasons or injuries.
