Had forgotten about Gallagher. No idea how he's done for Atletico this season but I've always rated him as someone who'd fit like a glove in our team. Would be a terrific signing.

Longstaff out and Gallagher in would be one of the best upgrades we could make. Add to that he can play atleast three positions. Don't see why Atleti would want him to leave though.

Of the top 6 clubs they still have the least ambition though. There’s a planet Kudus goes to Arsenal, Liverpool or City imo.

He is very much a rotation player there - I don’t think he has the ball retention ability which is the La Liga style, plus they have signed Alex Baena who I think is a similar player?

Thought Gallagher was older than 25. He'd be a huge upgrade on Longstaff; 35m is a good price also.

Think he'd be excellent. Ideal fourth midfield option, good enough to push Joelinton hard for first-choice but could also probably do what Tonali does too (not as impressively, like). I'm sold.

In the squad - yes. 
 

But in reality he gives us an entirely new option. he could legit play in our strongest team. 
 

When we have 4 games in 15 days.  He can get 200 minutes across the games. The level in team doesn’t drop significantly. Maybe even increases.

Would comfortably be fine selling both Longstaff and Willock if we could sign Gallagher. Our midfield of Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton, Gallagher and Miley would be a nice 5.

Yeah i think so with games coming thick and fast we will have to utilise the squad better.
