NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

Got to the point where I'm fed up of this window.

The whole Isak saga blended into our lack of speed within the market when we desperately need improvements for a game-dense European season is really frustrating me now.

Feels like we are shopping in Waitrose market (players who are proven in PL/England) with an Asda budget and that sounds like that direction is coming from what Eddie wants/prefers.

Therefore i think Eddie is just as culpable for the lack of signings this summer and last years debacle on Guehi, along with his nephew and Nickson

Eddie sounds like he wants to have his cake and eat it, he obviously doesnt like having a Director of Football/Sporting Director as he is a control freak and has seen off two Sporting Directors now and i reckon the reason Mitchell walked away as once Eales has gone, Mitchell loses his biggest ally.

We need to either let Eddie have full reign and change his job from Head Coach to Manager or Eddie needs to work with the DoF/SD rather than having a power play.

Eddie Is the best thing to happen to NUFC since Keegan but this internal power struggle which seems to have gone on over the last twelve months needs to stop

I suppose there's nothing wrong with this as long as we've still got our shopping list and can head down to Asda before closing time.

Seriously can't see us going into the season with Elanga as our one and only signing. We will make more signings, I'm sure of it.

Anything else would be unthinkable and a massive failure for all concerned. It would be bordering on gross negligence, which is why I don't think it will happen. We will definitely sign some more players.

Always said the best players dont want to move.to the north east of England. Pure rejection from almost all strikers been approached this summer. Newcastle aren't a big club outside of the north east of England. This needs to settle in the brains of mindless fans.

I will leave the quibbling, philosophizing and pontificating about the causes of our transfer slowness to those with more free time and confidence in their half baked theories.

All i know is that when i look at our quality in depth i find it less appetizing than a loki meal. I just want action that improves us.

Liverpool slapping the nuts on the table showing the geordies what a big club looks like. Everyone knows Isak wants to be at Liverpool over Newcastle. Yes he's being forced to stay under 3 years left on contract. But can't deny Newcastle are a small club despite the riches of the Saudis

Imagine being this much of a loner.

Your mother is embarrassed by her failure of a son.

It's pure fact.

Is that so.

Ravanelli won the Champions League with Juventus, went to Middlesbrough a few month later.

Reckon if we'd been allowed by show ambition we might just about manage to do similar to Boro now.

Find it ironic that, after becoming the 'richest club in the world', there has only really been two windows I've actually enjoyed. And those were the first two. One of which (Jan) was enjoyed but still had the threat of relegation looming. Every other one I've gone into optimistic, then after a few weeks just been counting down the days till it ends.

The above isn't even a massive reflection on recruiment (though I think big questions will need to be asked this Summer if Elanga ends up being the only addition), but rather the fucking transfer discourse on social media. It's just non-stop bullshit all the time. Then when any journo does pop up with a source, the spin around it from all sides starts up and that becomes unbearable. Like, at least back in the Ashley days we didn't have to deal with any of this shite. I'd kill to go back to moment in time where I didn't know who/what Anfield Agenda, AFTV, or fucking Mark Goldbridge was.
