Someone’s been watching 24 Hours In Police Custody - I see you.

Staring I See You GIF by QuikTrip

I fell down a YouTube rabbit hole one night after clicking on a video of how the Huyton Firm got brought down following the French police EncroChat hack.

Mental how many large scale crims got taken down.

Anyway… does anyone know the details of how many foreign players Atleti have to shift to be compliant with whatever homegrown rule they’re struggling with?

1 Connor Gallagher would be suffice.

An I being greedy wanting wissa and then 2 in midfield to play a 10/in attack then another as more of a DM

and a center back and a couple good u-21's who could be impact subs later in the season, nah think thats what we should have been aiming for, if we realistically want to be in with a good chance of making CL again this season.

Really expected a signing or two for the lads setting off tomorrow. I picked a bad time to stop biting my nails 3 weeks until the league starts its going to carry on being a frustrating window. Even more narking when chelsea get linked one day and get agreement the next.

Just fukin blow the money Man City did with a 3 point deduction

If you could guarantee that's all the deduction it would be, then that's fine. But I wouldn't bet my house on it only being 3 points. Would you?

Problem he has though, ACL during season, moves are gone (at least for wages he could get this summer). Likewise, if he ends up being benched, doesn’t play for England, is his stock really that high next summer to command a fee and have likes of Liverpool interested? When there could be a new CB available that’s more appealing.

It’s not likely though is it.

Even with an ACL - he could go to us or Liverpool for close to £200k per week.

He’s too good to be benched by Palace.

Unfortunately FIFA have no say over the rules of the PL and UEFA.

any sponsorship from Saudi will be assessed as FMV.

I really worry about our defence if we don't sign a centre-back mind. Two have barely played for 18 months and the other two lack pace and are getting older.

If we don't sign a top centre half this window then I'll struggle to judge the window as anything other than a failure.

Going into a CL season with Schar (Lascelles) as the RCB's would be criminal

These days, right, these days - if you only have one good right footed centre back, you're probably going to be arrested, right, and put in jail.

Well… this is certainly not how I saw the summer transfer window panning out.

It's infuriating. There's no excuse - they've had 18 months to plan for it. People get called bedwetters on here for pointing it out, but we clearly didn't have a plan. We had a small list of targets, did no pre-work to find out if they wanted to come here, they all chose elsewhere and now we're struggling. And if Isak leaves, there's another big gap to fill. We can't even fill the ones we had already.

Yep, if we can’t score goals we’ll need to be stacked in defence.

"Newcastle boss Eddie Howe says he wants to act quickly in the transfer market in case they miss out on potential targets. Howe also reiterated that the squad needs greater depth, and they need to replace the players they have previously lost."

Yeah because if you want 4x50mill players but only have 150mill you get them if you act quick.
