Feels obvious now that Mitchell leaving as suddenly as he has has really played a part in fucking our Summer. My theory has always been that this was the meeting where Howes plan (more expensive, PL proven/ready signings) won out over Mitchells (younger players with high potential who come in and grow with the club).
