NUFC Transfer Rumours

Offer Isak to them for 100 million in exchange for Ramos if that's the case. We'll get his goals back by committee. I doubt Ramos would be happy exchanging one bench for another though.

Ramos would be the Isak replacement according to Hope (since he's the alternative to Sesko)

Thoroughly fed up and bored with this window now tbh. Really need to stop checking in on here and twitter every 30 minutes to see if we're close to signing anyone, only to be left disappointed each and every time.

Going to switch off and wait for the actual football to get under way.

This summer's transfer window is definitely disappointing. Apart from Isaac's issue, the transfer team's single lane amateur operation is difficult to understand. Our center backs, even midfielders, have not received the necessary enhancement. Over the past month, our transfer team has been constantly crushed by other clubs, constantly switching targets. Our transfer team seems to lack a proper transfer assessment.

Beginning to wonder if the Isak thing has been going on longer than we think hence the dithering over other positions we need strengthened

I obviously don't know but on the surface it does seem that the Isak thing didn't just spring up. Sucks for sure.

Whatever you think about Dan Ashworth he definitely got things done.

Tonali Hall Tino Barnes Minteh that one CL summer he was in place.

Then last summer at Man U, he got them Yoro De ligt Mazraoi Zirkzee and Ugarte

forget what how they’ve performed and who identified them, in terms of getting deals done he did that well.

Tonali wouldn’t have been easy, Yoro they beat Real Madrid for.

anyone in place needs to have that killer instinct to get the deal done. Ross Wilson seems ok not sure how experienced he is at the highest level though credibility wise. The ex Arsenal guy Ayto although he’s young it is said he was the main man even more than Edu at Arsenal so I’d prefer him I think

Quite worrying how there's seemingly 0 movement on a centre half like.

I don't believe this daft rumour going round that Andy Howe and Nickson are only capable of dealing with only one deal at a time, but their inexperience will probably slow things up a bit.

I did think to myself a week ago that Ashworth was coming out of this looking better (from a deal making perspective).

It's worth considering, but it's much harder to get away from the idea that Amanda was the straw that stirred the drink. I don't see Ashworth and Eales being all that much more dynamic.

Yeah, I stopped the thought pretty quickly. Hard to separate him from Staveley and all of them from June 2024.

Ashworth > Mitchell in any event.

Yep, I'll give Ashworth that - better than Mitchell

Was sure where to put this, but this lad has berm blocked by Ornstein...

Someone has thin skin.

He’s a snivelling little prick. Shown his true colours this window.
