We selling Hall now as well?
我们现在把霍尔也卖了吗

Our LB only have Hall and Livramento (always RB). If athletic performance of Trippier declines,  Livramento must be RB. So we will lack a competitive player at LB. Who can take on the role? Is it Targett? We need new blood at LB, urgently.

I’m now legitimately wondering if it would be worth it to sell Trippier or loan out Miley. Crazy the difference a week and a couple of signings makes.

Love wor Lewis but he’s quickly going down the ladder. We need him and I want to see him starting matches but dang.

If Hall were out then Livramento to LB (where mamy would say hes played best) and Krafth to RB (who's never let us down) and thats only if Trippier leaves. Also we may well see the emergence of Shahar over the next season or so. Be interesting to see if he gets loaned out for experience before the window shuts.

Dibbling left out again last night, seems like a howe signing in the making, not sure if Southampton have overpriced him.

Just dont see us being in for another RW. Dibling has played CF and AM I think but RW is his best position isn't it? Almost a non starter.

All focus now has to be on strikers (assuming Ramsey is signed)

Two and a half weeks to get Wissa, and either produce the greatest piece of man management in the club's history by making Isak serviceable here again, or sign a replacement.

If Ramsey and Wissa sign and we can successfully reintegrate Isak it will have been a very decent window

use Šeško money on Wharton, get Wissa for Wilson replacement and keep Isak til next summer

or get Paqueta and Rudoni for the same price as Wharton, Wissa and Jackson/Samu after selling Isak

what would you prefer

Everyday of the week, and twice Sunday.

If that happened and you took all the Ormstein/Jacobs/Hope/Romano noise out of it:

Elanga

Ramsdale

Thiaw

Ramsey

Wissa

is about as good as I think anyone would have expected. We got our new RW, the GK to push/replace Pope, pacier RCB, midfield upgrade on the current backup options and Wilson's replacement. Still feel we're going to need a number 9 to replace Isak, though.

Still lacks that Tonali-esque star signing the marquee which makes us serious challengers. This set of signings currently keeps us at break even given how far advanced other clubs have become this summer

Pope, Ramsdale, Ruddy (3)

Trippier, Livramento, Hall, Krafth, Targett (5)

Botman, Burn, Schar, Thiaw, Lascelles (5)

Bruno, Tonali, Joelinton, Ramsey, Willock (5)

Gordon, Elanga, Barnes, Murphy (4)

Isak, Wissa, Osula (3)

That's 25 as it stands, names in bold could change obviously.

If we're going to add another midfielder on top of Ramsey I can only assume we're going to look to shift one of Targett or Willock before we do so.

So it looks like it could be

Dubravka ➡️ Ramsdale

Kelly ➡️ Thiaw

Longstaff ➡️ Ramsey

Almiron ➡️ Elanga

Wilson ➡️ Wissa

I think it's fair to say that's a canny upgrade, squad is better for it

Just the Isak situation to resolve too

Thinking another way though.

Dubravka - £1-2m maybe?

Kelly - £17-20m?

Longstaff - £12m

Almiron - £8m?

Wilson - £0

Total income: £38-42m

Ramsdale - £4m loan (£20m buy?)

Thiaw - £30m (+£4m add ons)

Ramsey - £35m? (Total £40m?)

Elanga - £52m (3m add ons)

Wissa- £35-40m?

Total cost £156-173m (not counting Ramsdale future buy price)

So roughly if all max prices are received and spent were looking at at outlay of £131m so far if we are adding Wissa into the figures. Plus whatever wages we have added more than we dropped.

That's alot of money to us and where we are currently and with PSR to have only really improved on our backups, added zero extra depth and maybe 1 likely first 11 starter in Elanga.

It would certainly mean we need the Isak money if we want to try and sign a "purple" again in this or future windows I suspect.
