Today’s ees market is crazy. Fees in the region of £80m for both Ekitike and Sesko are utterly wild and mean we have to get £150m for Isak. Just imagine what a similar calibre of player will cost next summer. The ESL clubs continuing to drive fee inflation is another way they assert their dominance and make it increasingly difficult for anyone to compete. If he hadn’t bottled Arsenal away last season we could have been 2nd. All areas of then squad are now strengthened, and Isak and Wissa would have been a great forward line.
