If the opportunity is there then get someone in but maybe it can wait til the summer. A CF who can fill in on the wing would probably be my first choice position now, although I still have a nagging feeling about lack of technical creativity in the squad. With Targett's career seemingly finished here, that's the obvious hole that needs plugging. The big opportunity for me is in centre-midfield, with a Willock departure opening the door to recruiting someone of a different profile in that position. You wonder if there might be a bit of a shake-up in that area of the squad in the summer, so it would be good to assimilate one of the next generation now. Wingers and CFs we're all set imo; we can't reasonably expect to make a significant investment there at this time. Hopefully Osula stays and finds the fitness to return to his role of being a chaotic option off the bench. Peddle him in the summer for a good price; it's always seemed like his destiny with us. Agree with all of this apart from the wingers. I think there's some surgery needed there for sure. He doesn't seem to fancy Barnes to start games, Gordon has been poor for over a year, Elanga has had a shocking start & Murphy we all know is limited. Depends if Osula does stay, if not we'll need to replace him and I'd argue a more first team ready profile is needed. Neither Wissa or Big Nick look a good bet to play 90 every 3 days which means we're fucked if one's injured and it overly limits any opportunity to play them both.
