NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

Oh dear rinse and repeat we never learn.

If Neco Williams is Tino’s replacement and you can be assured they’ll take our eye balls out, it doesn’t bode well for the summer ahead.

Solid PL player, and we’ll need one at the position even if we only lose Tripps.

Not a player you'd want to spend money or pay PL wages for. (Our average salary per player is now at 100k per week).

Basically too expensive to be a back up and not good enough to be a starter.

Not sure why we'd need to go on a scouting mission when we have every minute of his PL career available to watch.

If we are going to monitor someone, we need to do it properly, no?

I like that it appears we're being more ruthless and clever so far. About time someone cut the chord on the past it/shit players and looked at bringing in players with their ceiling ahead of them rather than behind them.

And Wilson knows him very well. Total bs rumour this. We might be looking some Porto players more likely.

More likely to be Trippier’s replacement.

He's 24, plays both sides and has PL pedigree, so it makes sense as a rumour. But he's a regular starter in the PL so you know he'd cost a bomb.

Contracted until 2029. They will definitely want money.

We’ve always done this

This summer is going to be brutal. Heart ripped out. But this is the price of failure. Most on here was happy with that earlier in the season when it was floated as a possibility, now it's likely, you've just got to accept it and see our best leave the club and replaced with players you don't think will be as good.

Neco Williams can cover. Both sides has improved loads over the last year or two. It'd make total sense to look at him if Forest go down.

Agreed. We also probably watch hundreds of players over the course of a season.

Hes likely too expensive to be a back up and not good enough to be a starter. Realistically we shouldn't be expecting 24 year olds to improve much tbh.

I don't think a more successful season would have prevented the likes of Livramento and Tonali potentially leaving, tbh. The cup win + CL qualification did nothing in terms of keeping Isak last summer.

This is correct imo. Unfortunately we aren't at the level of the cartel clubs and this we are food. We have to keep pushing forward on the pitch and focus on increasing our revenue to get to the point we can compete.

We can't outmuscle them, so we have to outsmart them.

The sooner we get our heads around this the better.
