samptime29
The overlap with Tino is working well. He can lay over to Tino for the cross or cut on his right and cross/shoot.

He misplaced a pass to Bruno the other day and was complaining to Bruno about Bruno’s positioning rather than the poor pass, it’s pretty funny as long as our players don’t get too pissed off. There’s a hierarchy though, the best players in a team can get away with that shit

The squad know it. Edited April 4 by Thumbheed
Checko
Reminds me a bit of a line from Danny Baker's 'Own Goals and Gaffes' where he said 'Peter Shilton used to blame his defence when penalties went in!'

Newcastle Fan
I'm starting to lean towards thinking he's a better option than Gordon, he gives me more confidence when the ball is at his feet that he will produce something.
nemtizz
He's the perfect back up but let's relax.
Colos Short and Curlies
He's an ounce of pace away from being a top top player but even without he's a damn good option to have
AyeDubbleYoo
I think he needs strength more than extra pace TBH, he's quite quick with the ball but gets bullied off it at times.  I guess being ultra fast would also help.
Miercoles
Tough to fit them all in, Gordon can play anywhere across the front but you're hesitant to drop Barnes at this point and Murphy is untouchable.
Norseman
You can't really drop him at the moment. He's done very well in this run.
Guybrush
Aye, it's Barnes position to lose at this stage. I wouldn't have Gordon walk straight back into the team. Â I always feel like Barnes is a threat when he's on the attack, in a way that I haven't always with Gordon this season.
The College Dropout
Thought he was rapid at Leicester. Seems to have lost a yard. Â He's a better overall footballer than I gave him credit for when he joined. Â Actually using the overlapping LB has helped us so much. Gordon is so reluctant to drop that ball into the LB. Â Barnes has earned the shirt. Gordon can come off the bench when fit. Menace
Feel Gordon has had the run of the green this season - been very hit and miss yet still seemed to start every week. He needs to earn his position when he comes back.
andycap
He was fouled a fair bit yesterday where he should of getting freekicks but the ref must of been on glue. What I like about him is he gels better with the fullback and uses the overlapping runs and feeds the ball. Something gordon rarely seems to do.
KDT
I don't seem to be going with the tide here but I thought Barnes was pretty poor last night, apart from the easy pass to Livramento for his assist he gave the ball away either with bad passes or just losing the ball a lot in the first 30 minutes. His goal was more being in the right place at the right time and was really on a plate for him, I can't remember much from him in the second half either. His one good piece of play was the break and pass over for Isak at the tail end of the first half, overall though I thought he was poor.

Things just didn't seem to come off for him. He'll be better on Sunday.
andycap
He played well first half but like the rest in the second half everyone was giving the ball away which in turn made Leicester look dangerous. He scored had another chance aswell that was blocked some don't seem to appreciate what he does in games.

Pilko
Agree that it was probably his poorest overall game since he got back in, but he scored and was involved in the build up to the first goal too so he contributed in a positive way to the result still.  Definitely earned the shirt for the time being, Gordon wasn't great pre-suspension and should feature from the bench when he's back, at least initially.

Aiston
His goal was easy, but he was key in us scoring that anyway with a good run from deep in our own half. Â Showed good work with Tino again as well. Â Deserves to be our left wing starter.
Sibierski
He’s doing well. Producing when needed, even if overall highs are not close to what Gordon has giving us.  Long may it continue because we need to get into a position where we can have 5 across the three forward positions, where rotation can be made and performance levels remain the same. Too often we end up needing to run the main three into the ground due to a reluctance to rotate at times.
