Howe would never do it, but I think Barnes could do decent up front if Isak ever gets hurt. He's more of a poacher than Gordon and has more pace than Wilson.

Wouldn't even start Gordon over Murphy. He let himself down, and needs to earn it back from the bench. 

Besides anything else I think Gordon off the bench is cracking option for the time being too.

The overlap with Tino is working well. He can lay over to Tino for the cross or cut on his right and cross/shoot.

Isak loves to dish out a bollocking when he himself messes up too. He misplaced a pass to Bruno the other day and was complaining to Bruno about Bruno’s positioning rather than the poor pass, it’s pretty funny as long as our players don’t get too pissed off. There’s a hierarchy though, the best players in a team can get away with that shit

Think I read that Shearer told him he needs to be dishing em out if he wasn't getting the service.

I'm starting to lean towards thinking he's a better option than Gordon, he gives me more confidence when the ball is at his feet that he will produce something.

I think he needs strength more than extra pace TBH, he's quite quick with the ball but gets bullied off it at times. 

 

I guess being ultra fast would also help.

Tough to fit them all in, Gordon can play anywhere across the front but you're hesitant to drop Barnes at this point and Murphy is untouchable.

Aye, it's Barnes position to lose at this stage. I wouldn't have Gordon walk straight back into the team.

 

I always feel like Barnes is a threat when he's on the attack, in a way that I haven't always with Gordon this season.

Thought he was rapid at Leicester. Seems to have lost a yard.

 

He's a better overall footballer than I gave him credit for when he joined.

 

Actually using the overlapping LB has helped us so much. Gordon is so reluctant to drop that ball into the LB.

 

Barnes has earned the shirt. Gordon can come off the bench when fit.

Feel Gordon has had the run of the green this season - been very hit and miss yet still seemed to start every week. He needs to earn his position when he comes back.

He was fouled a fair bit yesterday where he should of getting freekicks but the ref must of been on glue. 

What I like about him is he gels better with the fullback and uses the overlapping runs and feeds the ball. 

Something gordon rarely seems to do.

I don't seem to be going with the tide here but I thought Barnes was pretty poor last night, apart from the easy pass to Livramento for his assist he gave the ball away either with bad passes or just losing the ball a lot in the first 30 minutes. His goal was more being in the right place at the right time and was really on a plate for him, I can't remember much from him in the second half either. His one good piece of play was the break and pass over for Isak at the tail end of the first half, overall though I thought he was poor.

It was his poorest game since he's come back into the team without a doubt. Things just didn't seem to come off for him. He'll be better on Sunday.

He played well first half but like the rest in the second half everyone was giving the ball away which in turn made Leicester look dangerous. 

He scored had another chance aswell that was blocked some don't seem to appreciate what he does in games.

Made a great run to start the move for the 3rd goal as well tbf, but I agree I thought he was poor.
