Why? Player selection had nothing to do with him

Still, he was 'at the centre of the wheel' for many signings that have done well for us - Livramento, Hall, Pope, Botman, Isak, Gordon, Minteh ($$), Barnes, Tonali

Almost nobody is as hard to get past as Tino mind, not sure there's any FB in the world that combines Tino's 1v1 defending with Hall's ability with the ball. You'd be talking about one of the best fullbacks ever to play the game.

If they had that skill set I doubt they’d be playing full Back tbf

I think what Dan deserves credit for is getting the deals done (though how much was Staveley is unclear).

He still has a bit of work to do defensively.  But I don't think it is hyperbole to suggest he is world class in possession.  The ball is glued to his foot when he's dribbling past players.

He’d defo be in my NUFC 5 aside team.

Hope he told Burn to fuck off after he was stood down from corner duty so our Olympic sprinter could ping it into the first man.

Wasnt Burn angry because Hall didnt take it?

Respect to this guy - thread needs a bump. Big fan of his football capability, heart, desire and commitment when he plays.

One of the few from this season that have been so consistent.
