The agent would’ve said yes and then engineer a deal with another club/s and tell his client look what’s on offer… It’s why clubs particularly us don’t like diving in as it gets used as a benchmark for other clubs to then match/improve. Clubs dont make offers if the player categorically has said no. Personal terms might not be agreed, but certainly Guehi didnt say no to us.

Which to me, means he's choking to sign for us with Scalvini
tarie4
Yeah, Guehi totally wanted to join, but we couldn't agree on a deal with Palace, so it fell apart. Parish said Guehi's a pro with a great attitude and wouldn't force a move—just like those Isak-to-Liverpool rumors. That shows his character; even without the transfer, he didn't complain and captained his team to their first-ever trophy! That's exactly the kind of player we want—good attitude, professional, and room to grow. He'd fit right in if we get him.

My guess is he leaves on a deadline day Levy special. Good shout, comes across like a Tottenham player

Open to listening to our pitch the usual line an agent will use. Edited 19 hours ago by LFEE

madras
You know the way you take more notice of a player when you're linked with them ? So weve possibly all taken more notice of him this past season. For me he falls in to the "the club see more in him than I do and they tend to get it right so Im OK with it" as opposed to "fuck yeah he's transformative for us". I tend to hold off on an opinion where Howe is concerned, his strike rate signing players is so good, if he wants a first team player he must be good
