(Not keen on that but hey) Aye i would have loved Zabarnyi, Scalvini if he stayed fit would be brilliant.

HayDen Traces
I think we'd be a better move for Guehi's career than Liverpool where I think he struggles to displace the current cb pairing. But I think his heart is set on that move

But I think his heart is set on that move Konate is deep into doing an Alexander-Arnold and prepping the groundwork for a freebie to Perez’s mercenaries. Liverpool are priming to do the same to Guehi. Only one is the noble club though.
Harveys Barn
Isn't it mad that clubs are prepared to pay 50-odd million, rather than simply wait a year and get someone on a free? It's basically saying that they value the player's impact, for a single season, as being worth at least that. Which could only make sense if that one player was going to be the difference between trophy/not, or CL/not. Craziness.

Then higher weekly wages to make up the rest. Edited July 8, 2025 by LFEE

If you’re a club in our position though, you often can’t wait until they become free because you know you’ll get blown out the water by clubs offering far bigger wages. So it’s pay the fee now, or miss out.

toon25
I don't think we'll pay the 50 million when it would essentially be a fee for one season in advance of his contract expiry. We're too sensible these days.
