Yorkie
Villa flying and probably felt like they owed us one. We were very poor in that second half mind. Just beat Ipswich now and try not to EMBARRASS yourselves again.

It's the histrionics and diving about that really rile me up. And then when he starts getting wound up for no reason, you just know his performance is going to suffer. He was absolutely infuriating to watch today. Edited April 19 by KaKa

Just seems like he's trying a bit, but no too arsed, like he knows he's not here so why worry. Might sound daft, but the bit part outings show a guy not bothered. Paulinho
Serious questions have to be asked about the character of the squad after that. Would be happy to see Bruno and Isak moved on in the summer. I am not a subnormal kneejerking freak.
JUICE690
Can't wait until we have some depth to the squad. Gordan/Barnes is all we have.

Said the same during our CL campaign when we played the same team every week and ended with a bad streak. People argued the same way you do. Anyway. Rotation, or the lack of, is a weak point for Howe/Tindall. Will be interesting to see if they've learned owt from the CL run. How come you didn't say it before kick off? ikri
Well that was shit. Too many players just didn't turn up today & we don't have the squad depth to cope.
Skeletor
Performances like today are going to happen in a long run of fixtures because we haven't done anything in the last 3 transfer windows. Villa have kept strengthening and have the options to change things up. You have to keep strengthening the squad. They can't afford to drop the ball this summer. 54
Disappointing game, basically all the players put in stinkers. I'm already over it to be honest, sometimes you put your hands up and say they where the better team on the day and deserved to win, and we can have no complaints. We've been on a great run, and if you offered me last 6 points and a +6 goal difference swing from the last 3 games i'd have taken it. I'm intrigued to see what the reaction is from the fanbase given this is the first loss since Wembley One thing this does show is our lack of squad depth, that cost us today, they where noticeably sharper and fresher than us, as they had rested players playing. MagPar
Shocking match but we've been on a great run so hopefully just a blip. I think that finally takes the chance of finishing 2nd away though. We need to get back on track now and make sure we finish in the top 5.
Aiston
There is no longer a reason to bring Wilson on ahead of Osula. Not sure what Osula has really got....but he can at least run.

Playing Krafth, Longstaff, Miley won't have changed that Krafth can cover RB and RCB, Miley, Willock and Longstaff can cover CM, Gordon and Osula can cover the wings? Like @The Butcher says, whoever is tired give them a rest? We obviously couldn't cover the ground needed as Villa were finding holes all over the pitch. There is bugger-all to come from the bench. Three games in a week at this stage is a massive ask - hopefully that gets corrected in the summer

We only had about 11 fit players through the CL campaign as when we tried to rotate in the league we had ridiculous injuries like Barnes vs Sheff Utd or unforeseen gambling bans to our marquee signing Edited April 19 by joeyt
