If Brentford make him stay out his contract, he will be 30/31. We are probably offering him 100k per week and when he is 30/31, it's unlikely he gets a 4-year deal on that. It's probably the last chance for a deal that will make him enough money to live comfortably for the rest of his life. Isak probably already has enough money to do that but he is only 25. But with only 10 months left on his contract that value has to drop significantly. Can Brentford really afford to lose him for nothing at the end lf this season?
