Whilst national FA’s have every right to select players some common sense is needed. The guy was essentially on strike and not involved with Brentford’s pre season, playing him in two straight international matches risked injury.

They don't need to care about that, we are the one absorbing most of the risk when it comes to the player.

True but it’s not right. Liverpool were on to the Swedish FA about Isak's involvement. I wonder if we did the same to highlight Wissa’s lack of training.

I don't think we will have to be honest. as they've just bought him it's obviously a really tricky situation for the club to manage.

Yes easily. We hold the players registration and are essentially the owners of the player - not Congo.

 

I'm pretty sure Shepherd sued the England FA years back when Owen got an injury in international duty.
