I’m willing to overlook his behavior, which is no different than Isak’s, because he “only wants Newcastle.” Fickle? Perhaps.

Nope. It's called being a partisan fan. Count me in also.

I like Sancet but is he not a midfielder? He's also just done his knee ligaments I think they said on the Bilbao match last night

Yeah i think hes an attacking midfielder but he scored 15 in 29 last year, hence my confusion. I'll give you Riccardo Orsolini of Bologna for around 30 million. Or spunk a shitload of money on Marcus Thuram.

Replacing one snake with another seems like a bad idea to me.

Go for Strand-Larsen instead.

Only go for Larsen if he's good enough. If not then we need someone who is. We aren't here to win the fair play league otherwise we could do that and get relegated.

The only reason we should not sign Wissa is because he either costs too much, or Brentford won't let him go. Not because he's throwing a strop, because in this day and age that tactic seems to be par for the course when you want a move.

Absolutely no time for this behaviour like. Swapping one sulky twat for another seems less than ideal.

I agree. Brentford have absolutely priced him out of a move tho. £60m for an almost 29 year old with 1 year left on his contract is ludicrous

Feel like it's vastly different.

One was promised something by the club and now going back on it because they feel like it and probably won't have many other chances to play CL football. He was literally lied to by his club.

The other acted like a cunt for no real reason and wasn't motivated by anything but his own aims.

Are they doing something similar? Sure but that's about where the similarities end, the circumstances to where both got to this point are vastly different and those circumstances matter.

It’s not one year in reality. (Technically)

We can't blame Brentford for asking whatever they want for a striker under contract. We need to get it done or move onto another option while there's still strikers who are available.

A lot of our fans have backed themselves into a corner with their hysterical reaction to Isak, so now have to half-heartedly pretend to be really mad at Wissa when in reality they don't give a shit and will welcome him with open arms.

Brentford are on Saudi tax nonsense, pathetic but moden football and prices are pathetically mental.

I think their price is fair given his relative importance, their position and how hard it will be to replace him.

I don't get this argument.

Brentford are well within their rights to put on any valuation they like. If they'd rather keep him and have the remaining time from the player over the money they're well within their rights too.

See also Guehi (maybe palace don't win the cup) and use with Isak.

If anything though I see this getting worse. The PSR price inflation is getting ridiculous.

I think £60m is way too much, at 28 with a year + option for one more. Way too much, but as you say their player, so they can ask what they want.
