Nah, it's just a case of the stupid financial rules causing convergence. Everyone wants younger players who cost less wages and can improve. Only dafties like Bayern ignore this.

I think thats a deliberate ploy, Man Utd had to believe we are still in it so Leipzig get their full amount.  If we pulled out they could bid lower but with us still on the hook they cant.

24hrs, it takes us weeks to sign a player at this rate it's Gordon/Osula leading the line against Villa.

There's literally nothing to suggest that will happen. Sesko is far from "dregs", we've already emphatically rejected Liverpools initial offer of close to the British transfer record fee, and we're pursuing one of the best talents in the world by offering top money, more than our rivals are offering at this time, and have supposedly spoken to the player and gained encouragement.

The idea that we're going to move onto a player who isn't good enough to be our striker is just invented in your mind, Eddie Howe has literally said (to paraphrase) "we won't sign the wrong player", suggesting he would rather sign nobody than one who hasn't been adequately profiled.

I know it's been a rough window, but the mood swings in this thread for every new update are wild. At the moment it looks like his agent has led both clubs to believe he prefers them. We'll find out for sure now.

The deliberate stalling from player and club always felt a bit off from the start. Not going to criticise the club for this move in particular as I think they've gone in full tilt to get him but he just wants a different club. However he can now be added to the long list of players we've moved in for and failed to tie up. It looks shit from the outside and fingers are rightly going to be pointed at how we've simply not got shit done throughout this window
