Didnt it take Arsenal like a month to sign Gyokeres? And Osimhen was signing for Galatasary for about 8 weeks before he signed - in fact has he even yet?

Big deals take time - like StevV says, we're so invested in every hour, day, week we probably think we're the only ones who cant get shit done. We're trying to play with the big boys in deals with tens of millions, they're never going to be done and dusted a couple of days.

We're also doing it without a CEO or Director of Football. Can't be helping to get decisions made.

I think these have taken the piss out of us tbh. Stringing us along until Man Utd sort themselves out and get an offer in, and sure if it doesn't work out they'll just choose Newcastle.

If he wanted here we would have already struck a deal.

This kind of back and forth bollocks playing clubs off each other doesnt bode well imo. If we did get him it feels like he would be a nightmare with agent looking for another move in a year or so abd more drama.

Surprised we haven't walked away already if the press stuff is true. Hopefully its all garbage and the delay is us just trying to negotiate the right package.

I think it's all well and easy to say we should move on and set deadlines for them to make a decision but the pool of strikers to replace Isak is so small I'm not sure we can?

Who do we move on to?

It's going to be frustrating if/ when he eventually picks Man Utd but do people just want to give Man Utd a free run at him and we get someone inferior instead?

If we're desperate for a striker, just go back to Brentford with £40m and see what they say?

Sesko is literally a waste of time. Isak we don't have to sell this summer. Rather take £120m for him next summer and plan a whole year with a DoF / CEO on his proper replacement instead of doing this stupid dance for Sesko.
