Some stage next week. Man, why can't we sort some of these deals with a bit more urgency, because we know rightly the longer this goes on some cunty club like Man Utd will land in with a bid.

We might be trying tbf, but agents/clubs will stall if they sniff a bidding war

To Sesko: "This is our project, but if you want to join us we need an answer within a week".

To Isak: "In order to leave we need a good replacement first and for Liverpool to match our valuation, if that doesn't happen, you aren't leaving."

If within a week, we haven't got a suitable replacement, id tell Isak his move is off and if necessary give him a fortnight off, to get his head sorted. We should be working to our timeframe and noone else's.

Or do the power play. Sign Sesko, keep Isak until next summer.

That's the sort of ballsy shit I want.

At the very worst, we let him leave on the last day and make sure Liverpool are basically shackled in the transfer market.

Also hoy Marmadashvilli in for good measure.

If Isak is annoyed at us not strengthening then this could be a move to placate him and assuage him that we have the ambition we did a few seasons ago.

More than likely though it’s just a replacement.

Even more likely though is Man United, who can offer him first team football and more money, shit themselves that they haven’t bought a striker yet and swoop in last minute.

I thought man utd were going down the 'premier league proven' route this summer. Would they gamble on another young striker who hasn't played in this league before?
